The Problem With Atheism

The problem with atheism is the concept offers nothing but a bleak, cold, empty, future.

According to atheists, the concept of a god is an invention of mankind. When you look at the many gods that have existed in this world that have been paid homage, revered and devoted, you would have to agree. There have been gods that are angry and gods that are benevolent. Not only have there been gods, there have been goddesses. Many of the gods of the ancient world have become relics of the past. While in India, there are gods that are still being born as humans and then exalted to Godhood status to be adored and worshipped. These are manmade gods that not only atheists reject, but so does the majority of the world’s population.

The problem with “atheism” is the very word suggests that the idea of God exists. If there were no such thing as an entity that is designated “God” existing, then atheists would not call themselves such. It is one thing to reject manmade gods and call yourself an atheist because you do not believe that manmade gods are truly Divine, but another matter to oppose the existence of the DIVINE ONE, God Almighty.

When we talk about origins of the Universe, we all know that the Universe was not made by man. Man can create many things, but the creations of man are not in the same league as those crafted by the Creator of the Universe. When you consider what man has created, the one missing major factor is life itself. No man has created a living entity. Man has created buildings and other architectural structures, equipment and vehicles, airplanes and ships, electrical goods and power generators, but nothing that has life in itself and has the power to procreate. The closest man will come to being able to copy the idea of procreation is to create robots that build robots; only this is not the act of procreation.

The problem with atheism is that the rejection of God Almighty being the creator of the Universe means another view has to be concocted as to how the Universe came into existence and life of Earth materialized. Instead of creating manmade gods to substitute the divine, atheists like to subscribe to a theory of nothingness bringing forth something. The very concept of nothing producing something is an oxymoron; a contradiction in itself. Nothing brings forth nothing; something brings forth something. There is no such thing as nothing bringing forth something. But this is the only defense an atheist has in rejecting the Infinite One, the Creator of the Universe.

The problem with atheism is its adherents rely on the illogical to dispute the logical. To explain the world as we know it today, atheists like to subscribe to the theory of evolution as a scientific fact that somehow has been proven. Somehow, out of chaos order was created. (Not sure how the theory of evolution proves this in a laboratory.) Then there is the question of evidence of design being created without a designer. Ask any believer who believes the theory of evolution to be a scientific fact to prove this to you and you will be ridiculed for being unscientific. On the other hand, if you suggest there is no evidence that life evolved over millions of years, these atheists declare they have evidence (interpreted to demonstrate this) in the fossil record and you cannot deny their interpretation of the facts.

The problem with atheism is adherents need to resort to trickery to justify their claims. The first law of thermodynamics states you cannot create something out nothing. This is classified as not only a scientific principle, but an undeniable fundamental truth. However, the Theory of Evolution states that order came out of chaos and this is a scientific fact. If you do the research, you find that a scientific law holds precedence over a scientific theory any day.

The problem for atheism is scientists reject the truth because they want to create their own lie, like George Wald, who shared in winning the Nobel Peace Prize for medicine (1997). In Scientific American (August 1954) George Wald wrote:
“When it comes to the origin of life, we have only two possibilities as to how life arose. One is spontaneous generation arising to evolution; the other is a supernatural creative act of God. There is no third possibility...Spontaneous generation was scientifically disproved one hundred years ago by Louis Pasteur, Spellanzani, Reddy and others. That leads us scientifically to only one possible conclusion—that life arose as a supernatural creative act of God... I will not accept that philosophically because I do not want to believe in God. Therefore, I choose to believe in that which I know is scientifically impossible, spontaneous generation arising to evolution.”

The problem with atheism is it offers nothing but a bleak, cold, empty, future, yet people prefer this than to having a future with a hope. The only reason can be, like George Wald, they do not want to admit that whilst humans have been created in the image of God, and maybe are little gods with the ability to discover the wonders of the Universe and create and design new technologies, they are not God.

The truth About Religion

Every religion incorporates three aspects: the ideal, the quest for attaining the ideal, and the theology, which is the worldview that explains its existence in relation to the world.

Whether you like it or not, you are inherently religious. Religion is inescapable.

People claim they are not religious but secular. However, secularism is a really a substitute religion, only it does not appear to incorporate a distinctive set of institutionalized values or rituals or rites that can be identifiably recognized as belonging to every person who adheres to secularism. Yet secularism does have certain identifiable traits and values which are peculiar to its identity, otherwise we would not be able to define secularism.

Secularism is distinctive from Animism, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism and Islam. Including Secularism, one could say there are six religious expressions to which most people on Earth today belong; each claiming around one billion adherents.

Essentially there are really two types of religion. One is man-made and the other is true religion.

Man-made religion is a substitute for true religion. It is based on the philosophies and imagination of man and incorporates all sorts of worldviews, rituals and rites. Some are seemingly innocuous but leave participants psychologically scared, while others are bizarre.

It is said that if you want to train people how to recognize counterfeit money, you get them to become so familiar with the real money that when they encounter a counterfeit it is immediately recognized. With this in mind, we will look at what true religion should look like and then you will know any counterfeit variety immediately.

Like every religion there are three aspects to true religion: the ideal, the practices for obtaining the ideal, and its theology or world view.

The ideal for true religion is eternal life. Eternal life simply means that you will never die, that is, have ceased to exist. Death means the cessation of life.

Eternal life for some is considered to be transmigration or a series of reincarnations in new bodies through a process of birth and rebirth. For other people eternal life is living in the memories of their descendants. Some people see eternal life as being born never to die in their physical bodies. Some more view eternal life as becoming spiritual creatures. Jews, Christians, and Muslims view eternal life as receiving resurrected bodies from a Creator.

Just to be born only to die means a futile existence. Once you recognize this fact, you begin to wonder how it is possible to avoid death, or, in other words, how is it possible to gain eternal life.

Life itself is defined variously as a state of activity, or avoiding death through the exertion and appropriation of energy, or an existence which incorporates the reproduction and growth of an organism. But life without meaning is not really life.

Apart from being eternal, the ideal life is one of bliss, full of love, joy and peace, where new discoveries and wonder never cease. But is this possible on Earth?

Those who believe it is not possible to have a blissful life on planet Earth look forward to such an existence occurring after death. On the other hand, humanists like to think a life of bliss is possible on Earth, and have rejected traditional religious values in order to bring this about through secularism, but unfortunately have not really been able to make any progress.

The Bible teaches there will be a life of bliss on Earth when Jesus returns to reign. The Bible also teaches that those who desire love, joy, peace and a life of wonder in this world will also be satisfied. This is contrary to what is often taught by those who claim to follow the teachings of the Bible.

If anyone today desires to experience the ideal life of love, joy, peace and the wonder of new discoveries, then this is possible.

Jesus said that he was the Way, the Truth and the Life.

The ideal of true religion is an abundant eternal life that can be attained by anyone on Earth.

The practices required to attain to the ideal life on Earth now and forevermore are all bound up in truth and truthfulness.

The theology concerning the true religion is simply known as The Way.

Jesus essentially claimed that HE is the answer to all your problems and all you had to do is become like a little child. A little child innocently accepts the guidance of his or her parents. In like manner, all you need to do is meditate upon Jesus teachings, be honest with yourself, and place childlike trust in Jesus, and you will find your problems begin to be solved.

Unfortunately, many people think that being a Christian means being born into a country or a community who claim to be Christian, just like Muslims and Hindus and Buddhists claim their faith as part of their cultural heritage.

True religion is about you seeking to discover the truth for yourself and once having discovered what is true, then living a life of truth.

The first truth everyone must seek before they can begin their journey of discovery is why we are born into this world when we did not ask to be born. This is the beginning of true religion.

The answer can only be found by establishing a relationship with the Author of Life. This is the Way. The way to eternal life only comes through discovering the truth.

True religion is so simple and easy to understand and does not involve complicated explanations. It is all about you and your relationship with the Creator, not how you identify with a man-made system of beliefs.

What is reality?

This is a question that people sometimes ponder. I have spoken to numerous people who have raised the very question with me. Often I have been told that we are all living an illusion and one day we will wake up and realize that this is a dream. Tragically, what some people might simply call a dream is a nightmare for many other people.

Martin Luther King is often quoted for his speech “I have a dream”. Evidently, King did not see the life that he was living to be a dream, and nor did the many people who suffered the injustices of segregation.

The people, who have told me that we are having a dream, in the main, were mostly young adults from middle-class western families who still lived at home and were trying to philosophize about the world and excuse their hedonism (irresponsible lifestyle of recreational sex, drugs and rock ’n’ roll). True responsibility was something that they had not really encountered, as mum and dad were still paying the bills.

Responsibility can be pleasurable or painful. Some people enjoy authority and carry out their responsibilities with pleasure. On the other hand, there are people who find the responsibility of authority a painful experience.

Everyone has a degree of authority; even if it is only the personal authority of exercising one’s own volition (i.e. freewill). Exercising one’s freewill also brings with it responsibility.

Freewill means you and I have the authority to say “Yes” or “No” before we act. Freewill also means we ought to be responsible for our decisions, because we will have to give an account of our actions sooner or later. In other words, the reality of our decisions will affect us sooner or later.

Even though we have not really nailed what reality is yet, you are getting the picture when confronted with the idea that “the reality of our decisions will affect us sooner or later”.

People scoff at what Jesus said when speaking to the hypocrites and warning them of hell, saying their worm will never die. Essentially, he was saying the reality of their decisions would torment them.

To be tormented is the worst kind pain. It is a nagging pain. Unlike excessive physical pain that sends a person unconscious, nagging pain is like a throbbing toothache that is unrelenting.

People experience this sort of pain when they are anxious or feel guilty or are reminded of some loss that was important to them. This world is full of pain. Hence, when we feel pain, we know that we are real. Pain is a reality that we would prefer not to know.

Is reality pain? It is when you feel it. But true reality is right now. Reality is always now. If you have no loss, or grievance or problem, or discomfort, then you can enjoy the now, it never ends.

Sometimes the truth about our decisions are not fully realized at the moment we make them. We can be deluded by our own illusions of being someone who does not have to face the consequences of our decisions or actions. In this respect, our now may be a short-lived illusion. Jesus illustrates this in a couple of parables about rich men.

One parable speaks of a man storing up treasures on earth and then when the man decides to retire and enjoy his material wealth, reality hits him when he dies and has to give account of his soul.

Another is the story of the rich man who refused a beggar bread, but when he died the rich man was cast into hell, whereupon he sees the beggar enjoying the privileges of heaven. The rich man employs God to send someone to warn his brothers, but is told that if they do not believe what Moses said, they will not believe if anyone returns from the dead.

Reality is now and the truth is now. Even though you have not yet died physically, the mere fact that you are going to die really means that you are dead, because, if you had eternal life, death would never be an issue, for even if you were killed, it would only be temporary; just like when Jesus was killed on a crucifix. However. Jesus rose from the dead, because he had the power of an indestructible life.

The question is: Are you satisfied with your reality?

If you are not satisfied with your reality right now, it may be worth your while to take note of what Jesus said,"Those who seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness will be satisfied".

Are Aliens Real?

People claim they are abducted by aliens who have a fascination with their reproductive organs. For those who believe in aliens existing, this is called evidence.

Those who don't believe in aliens say such reportings are hoaxes or the people reporting the events are hallucinating.

There is a third view. The beings that are mistaken as aliens are actually satanic agents seeking to discover how human beings are able to procreate.

Evidently, some five thousand five hundred years ago, Lucifer decided he would create a race of beings who were half angels and half human to thwart God's plans, and lured angels who were captivated by the beauty of the women to copulate with them. The offspring of these unions between angels and women produced creatures known as Nephilim. The Nephilim were large human-like creatures that were unable to reproduce; they were sterile creatures, frustrated, stubborn and prone to violence.

The Bible records that there was much violence and wickedness on the Earth in the days of Noah and this appears to have been attributable to the Nephilim.

With Lucifer having failed to pull off his coup and create a super-race of humans, that were to be be the offspring of angels and humans, it is feasible that he and his agents have abducted people, every now and then over the centuries, to examine their reproductive organs.

This view might sound like science-fiction, but then so does any view that considers aliens. The difference is that this view has a plausibility based on the Bible, and there have been many reports of angels, both good and bad, not to mention the exorcisms that have been recorded, where people have had evil beings cast out of them.

Many people try to discredit the Bible, yet there are some remarkable prophecies in the Bible. For instance, scholars say that the book of Daniel had to be written centuries later than when it was actually written because the prophecies are so accurate and it is impossible for anyone to tell the future.

Of course, the scholars are right about how impossible it is for humans to tell the future, but for the Creator of the Universe, it is possible for him guide events so that the expected outcome will occur.

In the New Testament book of Ephesians, the apostle Paul says that their is a evil influence that is at work in those who disregard God. This view is supported throughout the Bible.

Moreover, the Bible indicates that their are different levels of authority and influence that are given to various beings who entice and lure people to follow their lustful passions that produce undesirable outcomes for those concerned.

What is astonishing is how people neglect to understand what is written in the Bible but are prepared to believe any unsubstantiated theory or philosophy of man as to why people exist, how the Earth came about, and that aliens from other galaxies visit earth.

Rather than dismissing the Bible as do so many experts (who talk in millions of years as if they are seconds), it is better to prayerfully examine what it written in its pages. And as for people supposedly becoming more intelligent, just to look at the greed, injustice, corruption and disregard for truth, justice and equity that exists in the world and you know that people are still living in intellectual and spiritual darkness.

5 Events That Must Happen Before The End Of The World

The world will not end until these 5 events take place.

(1) The Jewish Temple has not been rebuilt in Jerusalem

Firstly, Jesus told of the temple being destroyed. Later he spoke of the abomination of desolation that was to take place in the temple as prophesied by the prophet Daniel. This prophecy had already taken place when Antiochus IV Epiphanes set up an altar to Zeus in the Second Temple in Jerusalem, and sacrificed swine on it around the year 167 BC.

In 70AD the temple was destroyed and the site was in ruins until 696AD when the Dome of the Rock Shrine was built on the site. According to Muslim tradition, Mohammed was supposed to have ascended into heaven from this site, even though his tomb is in Medina and (unlike Jesus) Mohammed did not rise from the dead.

Jesus Foretells Destruction of the Temple

Matthew 24:1-2: Jesus left the temple and was going away, when his disciples came to point out to him the buildings of the temple. But he answered them, “You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”

The Abomination of Desolation

Matthew24:15 : “So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand).

For the Dome of the Rock to become a Jewish Temple, there is going to have to be some wheeling and dealing taking place. This is a definite sign that the end of the World is near. Until such time, you need not worry.

(2) The Antichrist has to be revealed

Before Jesus returns a person who proclaims himself to be God has to appear and perform the abomination of desolation.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4: Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God
.

(3) The Gospel has not been preached to every tribe on the earth

This has not happened yet. There are still tribes to be found within the jungles of the Amazon and even Papua New Guinea. Some of the tribes that have been discovered of late, it is said, have yet to have contact with any modernized person, let alone have the gospel preached to them.

Matthew 24:14: And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.


(4) The prophecy regarding the days of Noah has not been fulfilled since the rebuilding of the Jewish Nation, Israel.

In the days of Noah, God said that those on the Earth would only live 120yrs. Then the flood came but Noah was saved. The Israelites are to be saved as a nation. It appears that Israel began to become a nation at the signing of the declaration of by England’s foreign Secretary, Arthur Balfour when Palestine was a British Protectorate around the time of the First World War.

The Mystery of Israel’s Salvation

The Lesson of the Fig Tree
Mathew 24:32-36: “From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the very gates. Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.


(5) The Church is not yet 2000 years old.

Moses was shown everything that was in Heaven by God. Many of the Salvation Truths are hidden so that only when a person’s eyes are opened will they perceive them. Everything to do with the Tabernacle of Moses contains various truths in symbolic form.

(For instance, the candelabra have 66 knops which are representative of the 66 books of the Bible. The seven candles on the candelabra are representative of the seven fold Spirit of God and the seven church ages.)

The outer court is represents the time from Abraham to Christ. The inner court represents the age of the Holy Spirit and the holy of holies represents the 1000yr reign of Christ on this earth. The actual measurements of these courts indicate the years. The inner court measurements are two thousand cubits and this is the age of the Holy Spirit or church age.

Since the church age began around 29-33AD and is to last for 2000 years, this means that there is still some time yet before 2029-33.

There is a little uncertainty as to when Jesus died due to some issues with calculations of dates around the period of Jesus birth and death. Origen, a famous Christian teacher (c. 185–254AD), put the death and resurrection of Jesus as being in 33AD, but others suggest that it was up to four years earlier. This still puts the end of the church age as somewhere around 2033.

If we take the Balfour Declaration of 1917AD as being the start of the 120yrs before the flood of Noah’s Day , which comes to 2037AD and then subtract 3.5 years for the tribulation period that will be on Earth prior to Jesus’ return, as prophesied in the book of Revelation, then we come to the year 2033AD. This brings us in line with a 2000 year church age that began in 33AD, when Jesus rose from the dead as Origen claims.
