Take The Blood Out Of The Bible And It Is Dead

Just recently I discovered the following statement by a person who is opposed to the WORD of FAITH teachings.

The person's thesis is there is life in the blood! But here is what the person wrote:

The word "blood" occurs 447 times in 357 verses in the Bible. The "Blood" (when it refers either directly or symbolically to the blood of Christ) is the very heart and core of the Bible, the true foundation of the Christian faith. Any departure from the Biblical message on the "Blood of Christ" is heresy or apostasy. It is plain that the message of the "Blood of Christ" is of basic importance in the Bible. If you would take the blood out of a human body, you would have nothing left but a lump of clay. If you take the blood out of the Bible, you have Bible that has no life-giving properties. It is a dead book rather than the "living book" that it claims to be. See Hebrews 4:12.

Apparently, the Bible has blood running through its pages, just the same as  when Lord Jesus Christ was on Earth had blood running through his arteries and veins, when He as the WORD of GOD made flesh.

If you take the word blood out of the Bible it ceases to be a living book.

The Bible is a living book because as we can read for ourselves in Hebrews 4:12:

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (KJV).

However, when we read the next verse and put the text into context we learn that the Word of God is actually a person. To quote Hebrews 4:13:

Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.(KJV).

Now if the Word of God is a person, then HE is not a book. For the letter kills and only the Spirit gives life.
If the Word of God is a person who pieces the soul and spirit and discerns the thoughts and intentions of the heart of men and women, Who could this be? The book of Revelation provides the answer:

⁹ And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

¹⁰ And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.¹¹ And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.¹² His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.¹³ And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.¹⁴ And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.¹⁵ And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.¹⁶ And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords. (Revelation 19:9-16 KJV)

The reason why people who claim to be Christians are always pointing the finger at other people who claim to be Christians but sometimes overstep the mark is because they themselves have not got the full truth. If they they had the full truth, these people would know how to take the speck out of another believer's eye.

How foolish can a person be to claim that the Bible is an alive book until the words blood are taken out of it? Do you believe this?

WORD OF FAITH

The Word of Faith movement has been under constant attack from those people who claim to be Christians but do not believe in what its proponents say is true. 

The Word of Faith advocates believe that if you have sufficient faith, what you say will come to pass. Those people who do not believe that it is possible to have sufficient faith to have every prayer answered, or to obtain what you confess, criticize those that say you can. The reason they criticize the people who claim it is possible to have such faith, providing you believe, and do not doubt, is these doubters do not believe it is possible to have such faith.

The other problem for many is they have tried to believe and in fact thought that they believed sufficiently to achieve their aspiration in having sufficient faith to obtain their requests from God, or obtain what they confess, only the results were not forthcoming. This has led them to become disillusioned.

There are a number of issues that need to be addressed in respect to these matters. 

1.   If you do not doubt, you can have whatever you ask.

2.  Those who preach this message live off those who want to believe the message.

3.  Those who listen to the message become disillusioned when they fail to obtain what they believe they were to obtain by practicing what they thought was the message.

If you do not doubt, you can have whatever you ask.

Doubt once, just once, and that is the end to that. It is like trying to win a 100m race with a broken leg or trying to fly without wings.

Those who preach this message live off those who want to believe the message

Those who preach the message believe that there will be sufficient people who want to get rich quick or have some need that they will be prepared to pay for the privilege of hearing how they can have their need met.

There who listen to the message become disillusioned when they fail to obtain what they believe they were  hoping to obtain by practicing what they thought was the message.

As is often the case, the disillusioned blame others because they themselves failed to obtain what they wanted. Yet if they were seeking the truth, this would not have happened. Only the truth will set you free.

Yes, the reality is the truth will set us free. Unfortunately, too many people go from one deception to another and do not realize that when they point the finger at another person there are three more fingers pointing back at them saying, "You are not being totally honest about this. You are failing to consider the truth about yourself. Get the log out of your own eye, then you will start to see the truth."
